Nathan started his career in marketing just as email was becoming a big part of the mix. For him, it was the ability to see results and have an immediate impact on his audience that made him change careers. The innovative nature of his industry made Nathan grow just as fast as marketing automation and marketing operations did. But of course, the rules of the game have changed. According to this expert, the biggest difference is that now email marketing is more of a support mechanism for all the other channels that are going on, rather than being the key channel for dispersing that information.
The pandemic has pushed Nathan to explore the world of online events since face-to-face meetings were not an option. Although this retooling does not make up for the real thing, it is essential to continue to learn and adapt to our environment.
