Introducing Knak Academy!

Great news for anyone who’s ever wanted to become an email creation genius: your chance is finally here! We are happy to introduce Knak Academy, a certification course for Knak admins. 

The course is live now, so we’ve created this handy guide to answer all your questions. 

Q. Why start this program? 

A. It was actually customer-driven, like many of our features. Lots of our customers wanted to know:

  • What other customers were doing
  • How to work around common challenges
  • What best practices they should be following  
  • How we build emails ourselves at Knak

We developed this course because we believe that the more people know, the better they can use the Knak platform, and the more value they’ll get out of it. 

Q. Who is the course for? 

A. It’s designed for anyone with Knak admin access, so the main Knak champions and users within your company. Anyone who’s creating modules or themes or running a Knak account will benefit from it. 

For anyone new to Knak, it’ll be recommended as part of the on-boarding process. It’ll actually be really helpful for anyone who signs up for Knak and then has someone new join the team down the road that missed the initial on-boarding.

Basically, it’s for anyone who wants to build beautiful emails.

Q. What’s the program like? 

A. It’s a series of courses on everything Knak, including how to:

  • Build modules
  • Set themes
  • Optimize emails to improve deliverability
  • Work with approval groups
  • Collaborate within the platform

It also includes best practices, email creation tips and tricks, and additional resources. Each section is a video with follow up modules so you can practice. 

At the end, you’ll build an email with required components and submit it to Knak. We’ll review the results with you, and once you pass, you’ll be officially Knak Certified.

Q. How long does it take to complete? 

A. The course can be completed in 3-4 hours, and it doesn’t have to be completed all in one sitting. Break it up, spread it out, whatever you need to do. 

Q. What happens after I pass? 

A. Well, in addition to your genius-level email creation knowledge, you will be the recipient of a very exclusive Knak Academy “Certified as Heck” t-shirt and a shiny new certificate of completion. 🌟 ⬇️

Q. I’ve been using Knak for quite a while. Should I still take the course? 

A. If you’re a long-term user, you will likely know about 80% of the material. 

You’ll be able to skip sections that you already know, but, there’s still value in completing the course: you’ll get access to best practice recommendations, insider tips, and other resources. Plus, you’ll get the shirt 👍

Q. How do I sign up? Is there a cost? 

A. No cost – it’s included in your Builder or Enterprise subscription.
